Discuss DFL PC Business and Help with the Behind-the-Scenes Planning
If you're interested actively planning events and discussing the business of the DFL PC issues, join our DFL PC Business Listserv (Key Member Discussion Group). Newcomers are moderated. Everyone is required to provide a real name and contact information to participate.
Traffic: Varies depending on what's going on, but expected to be managable for most.
Purpose: Discuss the business of the DFL Progressive Caucus.
Content: Discussion of policies, process and procedures,
the planning of endorsed events, etc.
Restrictions: Content must pertain to DFL PC Business. General annoucments about events, action items, etc. should be submitted to the DFL PC Weekly Email Updates (see above). Forwarding emails without the knowledge of the group or for the purpose of spying is discouraged. On the upside, it makes us feel powerful beyond our actual capabilities, sort of like a puffed up cat. Meow!
Requirements: Members must provide a real name and contact information, which will be shared with the rest of the group members. Ideally, members are active in the DFL PC or interested in being active and staying in touch.

RSVP
If you have ever used Evite, you know what Socializr is. Using this online invitation tool, you can RSVP to events, meetings, and volunteer opportunities. The tool is very easy to use and will help you feel more connected to our progressive community. To learn more see www.socializr.com. To see items you can RSVP to right now, check out our calendar.
Sharing Ideas! Collaborating!
The DFL PC is experimenting with using a blog as a forum to share ideas and continue discussions after meetings and events. See dflpc.blogspot.com to post your comments.
Touching Base with Old Technology
If email isn't your thing, you can still stay in touch!
- Voicemail: Call 651-251-6381 to leave a message and learn about timely events.
- Monthly Conference Calls: Contact Amy Brockman for information about monthly conference calls of DFL PC key organizers.
- Call us directly. See more information about contacting specific individuals here.
Sometimes it's just nice to get a letter in the mail
About twice a year the DFL PC sends out a letter to our membership. Make sure you're in the loop! Send your name and address to messenger (at) progressivecaucus.net.
Working with Others
Because we do not want to reinvent the wheel, the DFL PC is committed to networking with advocacy groups that have already done a great deal of work in key areas. We encourage our members to be involved in those groups as much as possible. See our list of recommended listservs in our Toolbox here.
